Wiener Silber Manufactur dates back to 1882 when Alexander Sturm, gold and silversmith fulfilled his dream of manufacturing his own silverware. His stylistically diverse designs offered a unique coexistence between tradition and modernity, something popular with the upper middle class and intellectual elite. After more than a hundred years, 1988 marked the end of the firm Alexander Sturm.
In 2008, George Stradiot founded Wiener Silber Manufactur. With an archive of over 11,000 original designs, Stradiot’s vision was to preserve the old to create something new. With their passion for silver, Wiener Silber has again established itself in the world of design.
